Booking During Covid 19

Wow!  It is 2021 and Oahu is back to having weddings, photoshoots, and proms again!  We love being back with our clients, hearing their stories and getting them all stunning for their event or photoshoot! As we are over a year into living with Covid-19 as a part of our lives we know taking steps forward is challenging. We have also come such a long way with allowing events to occur, visitors to come and are safely taking hair and makeup appointments daily.

As the owner of Reveal and on behalf of our team, I would like to be as transparent, safe and flexible as possible during these times. Below are a few updates and protocols for our appointments.

Covid-19 Protocols – Safety for our clients and team is our priority! Our team is up to date with sanitation practices and have taken additional certifications in sanitation since Covid-19. Our team will also wear masks for the entire service. All of our kits and supplies are sanitized prior to starting your appointment. We will also be sanitizing or washing our hands before we begin services. We have a video here with all of our Covid-19 safety steps.

We also have a client intake form you must fill out prior to our arrival.

New Bookings 2021

We are not requiring deposits for bookings for 2021.

New Bookings 2022

  • All bookings for 2022 will require a deposit.  We will begin requesting 2022 deposits in the fall of 2021.  We will reach out to you when your deposit is required.  
  • The deposit is $50/person to book hair and makeup.  
  • The deposit is $25/person to book only hair or makeup. 
  • The deposit is non-refundable should you cancel for any reason.
  • The deposit goes towards your total due on the day of your appointment.

Postponements- We know it is a big decision to have an event during this time. Even small ceremonies can require a lot of organizing and everyone to be in a good situation to make it all come together. With that in mind we are allowing postponements for any booking from 2021. We are also allowing our 2021 clients to reschedule to 2022. We are accepting these adjustments without an additional fee at this time. Any postponements to 2022 will be subject to the rates we have in 2022. Send us your new date and we will make it work! Some of our clients have also used their deposits for a small photoshoot or elopement and then plan to rebook the wedding later.
