We are so grateful you are interested in booking even during these difficult times. As we are months (almost a year!) into living with Covid-19 as a part of our lives we know taking steps forward is challenging. We have also come such a long way and are safely taking hair and makeup appointments.
As the owner of Reveal and on behalf of our team, I would like to be as transparent, safe and flexible as possible during these times. Below are a few updates and protocols for our appointments.
Covid-19 Protocols – Safety for our clients and team is our priority! Our team is up to date with sanitation practices and have taken additional certifications in sanitation since Covid-19. Our team will also wear masks for the entire service. All of our kits and supplies are sanitized prior to starting your appointment. We will also be sanitizing or washing our hands before we begin services. We have a video here with all of our Covid-19 safety steps.
We require all of our clients to wear masks as we arrive for our services. We are allowed to be working within 6 feet of the client only. We will advise you when you are okay to remove your mask. This means any guests must be at least 6 feet away and must wear a mask while in the same room. We know this may be difficult to manage so please inform your family or friends prior to our arrival. Consider finding a location where you are able to have a separate room. Please consider the best air flow as well. We also have a client intake form you must fill out prior to our arrival.
No date? No problem! Send us the date range you are looking at or see what dates we are completely blocked off. We can still send you a flexible quote and get any of your questions answered.
New Bookings – We are not requiring deposits for bookings for January 2021. We will begin requiring non-refundable deposits for all 2021 bookings in January 2021. Why? As we have been open to travelers since October 2020, we have had a steady flow of requests for our services. We know there are still unknowns around Covid-19 but as long as we are allowed to perform our services under Oahu’s Tier System we must block off and hold time on our calendar for anyone who would like to book. This blocks off our time so that we do not book another appointment during that time. With the knowledge of Covid-19 for a year, travel open and our services allowed we must continue with our booking policy of requiring deposits.
First Deposit – After your deposit deadline we will require a $50 non-refundable deposit per person booking hair and makeup. For hair or makeup only the non-refundable deposit is $25. This is entirely non-refundable. If you absolutely have to cancel this is still non-refundable as the funds will go towards the administration costs and date holding fee. If your plans are uncertain at this time shoot us an email and we can discuss a new date to pay the deposit once things are more clear for you.
Deposit for other’s in your group and final payment– For any services aside from your own for 2021 we will require a deposit to be paid for them by January 2021. If at this time you are uncertain on how many will add on we can work this out via email. We are really flexible with add-ons so you do not need to worry!
Postponements- We know it is a big decision to have an event during this time. Even small ceremonies can require a lot of organizing and everyone to be in a good situation to make it all come together. With that in mind we are allowing postponements for any booking from 2020. We are also allowing our 2021 clients to reschedule to 2022. We are accepting these adjustments without an additional fee at this time. Any postponements to 2022 will be subject to the rates we have in 2022. Send us your new date and we will make it work! Some of our clients have also used their deposits for a small photoshoot or elopement and then plan to rebook the wedding later.
Please let us know if you have any thoughts as we want this to be the easiest booking experience!
*As we navigate through the pandemic please note this is subject to change. Although this is not expected to change. Your invoice will state the booking policy that is specific for you based on when you booked.
