Helping someone to have that confidence boost makes me appreciate my job so much. Being there for their special occasion, being a part of their memories forever. It really is something so special that I never want to take for granted.”

Melissa has always had a passion for all things beauty. It all started doing hair and makeup on her twin sisters and best friend as a kid. As a teen and through her early twenties she was a model in L.A. and developed her love for makeup artistry even more.  She went on to attend beauty school and obtained her esthetician license and now has more than 15 years experience.

Her first job as an esthetician was at a luxury day spa in Santa Monica working along side of some of the best in the business and on the celebrity clientele. Wanting to focus more on makeup artistry, she took a job working at MAC Cosmetics and worked with them for several years. Now as an artist in the event industry, she enjoys the creativity and connection with people. She stays current on trends by connecting with other artists on Instagram and TikTok, but has found that enlisting the basics of listening to what her client really wants, and applying her knowledge with love ends up with the most beautiful results.

When she’s not doing makeup, Melissa and her family love to adventure in their RV. They have traveled up and down the west coast multiple times, and as well as to Grand Teton/Yellowstone National parks.
