JOSHUA TREE ELOPEMENT
For the adventurous souls, an elopement in one of your favorite places can be the perfect way to celebrate your love in a unique and intimate way.
This Southern California styled shoot planned by For the Good and shot by Moments by Morel captures the perfect mix of adventure and love in this intimate Joshua Tree Elopement.
HAIR | PONYTAIL
Since it was a warm day in the dessert and we wanted to highlight the dress, we went with a bridal ponytail.
A ponytail is great option for those getting married or eloping in a warm climate. It also helps keep hair out of your face or in place if it's a windy or breezy day. A ponytail also helps pull your hair off your neck and shoulders while still looking long. We recommend extensions if you'd like to have a full pony with lots of volume.
Kenra hairspray was a win to work with to keep down any fly-aways without looking stiff.
MAKEUP | MATTE DESSERT
We used warm, earthy tones for makeup to capture the colors of the complement the natural elements surrounding the couple in Joshua Tree.
To keep the skin hydrated and give a good base for foundation, we used MILK primer. It is a favorite on our team. For her skin, we applied Too Faced Born This Way foundation and concealer to create a medium coverage that held up on this sunny day.
THE VIBE
Colorful baby's breath florals, orange candlesticks, and sweet fruit brightened up the head table.
The couple had fun and played around in the dessert, climbing on some rocks.
The setting sun shined beautifully on the couples' skin, creating a beautiful opportunity for golden hour photos.
Thank you to the vendors who made this shoot possible and beautiful!
