AN INTIMATE SUNRISE WEDDING
an intimate sunrise wedding
When our vendor friends, Leandra and Daniel of Cocolani Gardens asked us to be part of their wedding, we were so excited!
As they shared details of their intimate sunrise ceremony and reception in the evening we worked together on a vision and timeline for both looks.
At 3am we met Leandra at the harbor and swiftly got her ready to head out my 4:15am on a boat. She had shared with us they planned to possibly take some water shots so our goal was long lasting and a look that works with the lighting at sunrise.
She chose a soft updo that looked effortless. Of course that meant loose curls around her face and some curls flowing out of her low bun. Her makeup was so fun as she’s so pretty already! We accentuated her eyes and gave her a clean complexion with underpainting for dimension and of course adding bronzer as needed to warm her up. We met back up at a small estate in Waimanalo around 2pm to do her reception look! Leandra wears makeup well so we were able to bump up her eyes a notch and create more of an evening look. Leandra has the most beautiful blonde hair so we did loose waves and brushed them out for fullness.
The icing on the cake for this beautiful day was seeing it get picked up on PEOPLE! Every detail was well thought out and with an amazing team of vendors we are all so excited to share this with the world on PEOPLE.com! On socials it hit 2.6 million views and over 29k shares! We hope it’s inspired more brides to be creative with their wedding day!
