Our Tropical Love Birds bridal shoot was featured in Wedding Chicks! We often collaborate with others in the wedding industry to get our creative flow going. These shoots are perfect inspiration for our future brides. This is one of the first big styled shoots we did a few years ago! We love how happy and bright this love bird themed wedding shoot turned out.

Louise from Love Letter Weddings and Sarah, a Hawaii based photographer, shared a love for bright colors and Oahu’s tropical vibes. On the day of the shoot we headed over to Dillingham Ranch to meet the real couple who would be our models. They were so in love as it was only months after their real wedding. Our vision was to give our model a soft natural look with a pop of pink on her lips. We wanted to give a long lasting look as that is the goal for our real brides and our shoots are typically all day! For her hair, we wanted the flowers to really pop on her flower crown but also have her face framed with her bangs. We created a side swept hairstyle to give a nice flow from her bangs to her longer hair. We chose to use a 1 ½ inch barrel to create bigger curls to cascade down. We love how much she looked just like herself but a little extra special!
