Originally from the Philippines, Sam moved to Hawaii at age 12. It was then she asked her mother for a curling iron and eye liner, and has loved exploring hair and makeup ever since. Growing up, she loved watching her mom and auntie get ready for their ballroom dances, from doing their makeup and to using hot roller sets, and it made her instantly fall in love with all things beauty.

She has now been in the industry for 8 years. She started in beauty retail stores/salons and in 2022, she decided to finally take the leap and become a freelance hairstylist and has loved it ever since. She loves going to different locations and meeting new people from all walks of life.

When she's not doing hair, she is either at the gym, working on her next big competition, or traveling to my next dream country.
